As reported, the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul is readying ‘My Life II (Act 2)’ and recently whet appetites with ‘Thriving’ featuring ‘Royalty’ trek partner Nas.
Hot on the promo trail for said track, she stopped by Beats1 radio gave Ebro the 411 on when fans can expect the LP – her first since 2017’s ‘Strength Of A Woman.’

When quizzed on when ‘My Life II (Act 2)’ will be landing, she emphatically declared “before July” – meaning it’ll be unwrapped fairly soon!

This is a wasted article. This is based off some snippets that Mary shared on her social media platforms from the interview. But she doesn’t confirm that’s the title of the album. The album title has been circulating on social media and mainly Wikipedia for sometime now. Mary said long ago she was done renaming albums after My Life.
I hope that’s true, her ‘My Life’ era was legendary, but to keep recycling it is kinda tired. Still looking forward to the album though!
